Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a non-invasive, gentle technique that can help the body return to balance after physical, emotional, or spiritual stress, trauma, or injury. CST is a hands on technique that connects with the deep rhythm of the body, known as the Cranial Wave. This rhythm is said to be the “breath of life” because, like the heartbeat, it pulsates, providing our life force. CST works with the craniosacral system, which is composed of the head, vertebrae, and sacrum, as well as the cerebral spinal fluid and the brain. However, the Cranial Wave is felt throughout the entire body and can be disrupted due to any number of events throughout our life. The health of the body is deeply rooted in this the rhythm and restrictions can show up in the tissues as various symptoms and health concerns. CST can benefit those suffering from headaches, migraines, ADD/ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, muscular-skeletal pain, emotional distress, and PTSD, to name a few. CST is also very beneficial for those seeking immune support, spiritual growth, pain relief, and an overall increase in wellness. Make an appointment >

Therapeutic Massage

Blending the art and science of bodywork is the most beneficial approach to therapeutic massage. Using the intuition as well as a deep understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the body, therapeutic massage not only provides deep relaxation, but deep healing.  Massage allows the body to shift into a state of rest and restoration.  It is here that healing can take place. Therapeutic massage targets the treatment of chronic pain, acute injury, trauma, and repetitive stress injury, as well as emotional stress and mental fatigue.  Therapeutic massage can greatly increase the overall quality of one’s life. Somatic Bodywork

Somatic bodywork is a form of therapeutic massage that connects with the emotional body as well as the physical body. It searches for the wellness within the body, encouraging it to spread, rather than focusing on the areas of distress.  Using techniques of myofascial release, Sytropy Insight Bodywork, qi gong, meditation and body awareness, somatic bodywork helps release deep rooted emotional, physical and spiritual pain and trauma. They body has a way of hiding these pains, but through somatic bodywork they can be often be found and treated. Somatic bodywork is not a therapy performed by the practitioner, but rather a therapy that is equal parts practitioner and client.  It is a therapy designed to help clients along on their path and desire for wellness.
