Attending a DONA approved birth doula workshop is only the FIRST step in the process of becoming a DONA certified birth doula. To become familiar with the entire process and all of the requirements, take some time to read the article “Steps to DONA International Certification.” Please note that the first day of this workshop (Friday the 25th) satisfies the requirement under item #4 for an “Introduction to Childbirth for Doulas” class.
